Russian athlete Daria Churakova shared her impressions about the organization of the tournament G1 in Royan with btrussia.com: "The tournament was great! The organization was excellent: gifts to the participants, good courts, water, towels, judges, a schedule of games, warm-up courts. Also there were available discounts on food for players and discounts for sponsors goods, stated on the tournament."

Regina Livanova also shared her emotions of the game on the french coast: "The Royan tournament is a major sport and entertainment event. The organizers took care about everuthing. I mean not only about the game part, but also to after-party activities. Every evening they arranged many activities for the players, it was very fun!"

It's nice that our girls stay positive, despite the endless flights, transfers and furious tournament schedule: "Of Course I'm very tired. Honestly, I'm barely moving. Well, how else? After this marathon of big tournaments and champs," says Daria Churakova.

"Playing on the beach close to the ocean is just perfect! There was a wind, but I did not feel it, it was very comfortable to play. My partner is the real bomb! Olya gave it 100%, but, unfortunately, we have not managed to overcome the barrier of the first round. But that's okay, Russia is training, gaining experience, and I’m sure we will be on top very soon!", says Regina.

Our athletes are competing at the tournament in Royan from 2011, and we hope that such a great organization and good experience would continue this tradition. And one day participation in the tournament will bring to our players great results!

Last weekend our athletes pleased with not only white beaches of Royan, but also the magnificent beauty of Braslav in Belarus. The main enthusiast of beach-tennis movement in Belarus Igor Lakhvich shared with btrussia.com his experience as the organizer: "I can tell you a lot about our tournaments, cuz we already have done three this year. And another five ITF G4 are coming soon. Our first two tournaments were organized in honor of the Victory Day, and these tournaments became very important to us, and we have decided that we will make their annual! Two more tournaments held in Minsk on our tennis training base "The tennis Club", and four more will be played near the new beach hotel Braslav lakes".

"This new place – is amazing for beach sports! Braslav Lakes Hotel is just perfect for BFPT and ITF tournaments, it is located on the shore of a beautiful lake, has a beach with beautiful grounds, where you can manage courts to play. The sand is so clean that it seems like you're on the Mediterranean sea," - says Igor.

"This year we have partnered with the ITF and maneged international tournaments of category G4, and I hope this will help to popularize BT in Belarus more and also will allow to Belarusian players to gain tournament experience and get rating points. Next year we plan to raise the category of the competitions to G3 and G2!"

Igor commented the results of the recent tournament in Braslaw: "Russian players came and won - WD Sergeeva/Yevtushenko became champions! And of course we happy to announce that our first Belarusian MD Lachvich/Beskosty became champions for first time in history of ITF G4 in Belarus! We are so happy! BFPT exists only for one year, and we already have got eight ITF tournaments during this summer! At this moment we have forty Belarusians players at the international ITF ranking, but a year ago there was nobody of us at all".

According to Igor, the triumph at the tournament in the women's doubles category belongs to Christina Yevtushenko and Irina Sergeeva.

Christina Yevtushenko commented: "loved the sand, it was comfortable to play. All the conditions were created for a great game. Another huge plus was the place – it’s near the lake, so we could rest and have a good time, finally it was a real BEACH tennis! We had a good game and a good mood, we worked really hard, practiced a lot, so I think we deserved this victory".
