Italy into the finals of the ITF Beach Tennis World Team Championship 2015

The defending champion, team Italy, defeated the Spanish team (2-0). The first point was scored by the Italian duo Bacchetta/Cimatti who outplayed Escandell/Sitja 6:2, 7:5. The second to play were Calbucci/Garavini against Rodriguez/Ramos-Viera. The Italian team won in three sets 4:6, 7:5, 6:1. Italy will face Russia in the finals.

In the junior competition the Russian team played against the Brazilians. The outcome of the tie was decided in the mixed doubles. Ferreira/Schuck defeated Reutov/Romanova 7:6(6), 7:5. Tomorrow the Russians will play against team Italy. In case they win, they will get the first place.

The official partner of the Championship, the yacht holding Burevestnik Group, brings the ITF representatives to the championship’s location.

The finasl will take place on the 19th of July, 2015 at the Beach Sports Center ‘Dynamo’ on Vodniy Stadion. Free entrance.
