World Team Championship in Moscow.
For the 4th time in a row Russia welcomed beach tennis fans and pleased with innovations such as new hotel location and the final courts. Every year championship involved a bigger number of countries: this year the Russian capital has hosted 28 teams, and also introduced a junior division, which is necessary for the popularization and promotion of beach tennis in the world. For compete for the champion title in the junior tournament future stars of beach tennis came from 6 countries.
The tournament was very memorable, friendly and informative. Following the results of competitions the national team of Italy confirmed their champion title, but not without difficulty - Russian team was so close to victory, but took second place. Third place for the first time took the Spanish national team. In the Junior tournament the prizes were distributed as follows: 1st - the Italians, 2 Brazilians, 3 Russians.

The tournament traditionally held at homeland of beach tennis - in Italy. Exciting matches on the beach Delfino has produced results that changed the balance in the ITF ranking of the TOP players, the winners: Girls - Gasparri Giulia and Flaminia Daina (Italy), Men - Michele Cappelletti and Matteo Marighella (Italy), Mixed - Joana Cortez and Vinicius Font (Brazil).

Pan American Championships.
The tournament this year was held by Brazil again, but this time in São Paulo, bringing together representatives of 5 countries: Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Venezuela and Chile. Brazil, as one of the world's beach tennis leaders, took the lead in the overall standings: Marcus Ferreira and Thales Santos won in the men's final over second-seeded Vini Font and Rafael Agulha with 6:4 6:2. Women's competition was won by the Brazilians Samantha Barijan and Joanna Cortez. The mixed champion title confirmed by Vinicius Font and Joana Cortez.

The European championships in Israel.
The final event of the BIG 4 in the world of beach tennis happened on the Red Sea shore in the Israeli city of Eilat. The players were not so happy with unusual quality of sand, but this didn’t stop them to show a very beautiful tennis and to identify the best among the best.
Girls champions: Italians Sofia Cimatti and Federica Bacchetta, Men world champions Michele Cappelletti and Matteo Marighella (Italy) became European champions too, and in the mixed doubles Russian players Daria Churakova and Nikita Burmakin won against Italy in a very beautiful and dramatic final.
